This course aims to promote understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity broadly defined to include race, ethnicity, class, religion, gender identity, age, and etc, which are transforming our everyday experience. Students will explore the contours of difference and the dynamics of diversity, privilege, and oppression in domestic and global contexts.
